Job Description
About the position
The Quality Officer will be reporting to Principal Quality Officer and will be responsible for ensuring that the products meet the drawing specification and its design indent and calibration requirements are fulfilled for the measuring and monitoring equipment.
Primary Duties:
As our Quality Officer, you will be responsible for:
Conduct the in-process inspection of the non-conforming parts received from Production and Receiving inspection.
Prepare the Non-conformance reports with accurate information.
Identify any non-conformances and coordinate with the stakeholders for action.
Develop and maintain a calibration calendar for all the measuring and monitoring equipment.
Coordinate with the supplier for the timely calibration and service of all the equipment.
Coordinate with the internal stakeholders to monitor and conduct the internal calibration.
Periodically update and maintain the tools register and prepare the monthly calibration reports.
Maintain the competency database for all the staff who are responsible for conducting internal calibration.
Conduct the in-process inspection of the non-conforming parts received from Production and Receiving inspection.
Prepare the Non-conformance reports with accurate information.
Identify any non-conformances and coordinate with the stakeholders for action.
Support the MRB meetings for processing of the parts as per the disposition action.
Measure and verify the Critical to Quality and Critical to Assembly characteristics using Optical CMM and other metrology equipment to support receiving inspection.
Adhere to quality management principles and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.

About You
To be successful in the role you need to be detail oriented; well-organised and having strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be easily able to work cooperatively with other teams and individuals. You will be required to met tight deadlines while having attention to details and search for solution wherever required.
You will have:
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role highly desirable
Strong ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage expectations confidently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient knowledge of Quality principles and practices preferred
Familiarity with quality management systems and process improvement methodologies preferred
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Computer skills including Word, Excel, document management systems such as SharePoint desirable.
Ability to perform CMM measurements and sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is preferred.
