EOS Defence Systems (EOS DS) is a leading Australian technology company specialising in advanced defence systems. We’re seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Depot Technician to join our Canberra-based team. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in maintaining, repairing, and supporting our cutting-edge Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) both at our Hume depot and in the field—across Australia and internationally.
Job Description
About the Role
As a Depot Technician, you’ll support the Repair & Overhaul activities of in-service EOS products. This includes diagnostics, system upgrades, and repairs—alongside field support for integration, testing, and maintenance. You’ll also be a crucial part of demonstrating RWS operations to stakeholders and ensuring depot operations meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out assessments, repairs, upgrades, and disposal of EOSDS products in line with project and contract requirements.
Complete R&O documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
Maintain depot facilities, equipment, and processes in accordance with ISO 9001.
Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting in field operations.
Assist with system integration, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites.
Support system demonstrations for internal teams and external clients.
Perform other duties as directed by the Technical Services Manager or Depot Support Engineer.

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar technical or support role.
Experience in field service or defence-related technical support (highly desirable).
Certificate IV in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Weapons maintenance experience is a plus—or a willingness to attain relevant qualifications.
