The ILS Manager is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all ILS requirements relating to Australian Defence projects and other EOS projects as required. The role will be responsible for working with all aspects of the Systems Engineering discipline, along with the Aftermarket and Services and Programs team to ensure that all ILS requirements are met on time, within budget and to the customer’s quality requirements.
The ILS Manager will be required to address some logistic engineering tasks from time to time and to work directly with the Customers to understand and deliver to their requirements. A solid background and understand of Australian Defence Logistics is required for this role.
Job Description
Primary Duties:
Ensure that all the project’s Logistic requirements are identified, captured and allocated to appropriate resources.
Draft project Logistics documentation (plans etc) as required. This includes, but is not limited to;
Integrated Support Plans
Codification Data
Technical Data Lists
Recommended Provisioning Lists
Other ILS documentation.
Manage the delivery of all Logistic requirements for the allocated Project and engage with the customer to ensure Customer Acceptance.
Ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations by employing life cycle cost modelling and logistics support analysis techniques
Implement processes and procedures to support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements
Participate in ILS Planning workshops and work collaboratively with stakeholder
Engage the Project Managers and the Project Management Group as required regarding deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications or significant experience in an ILS domain
Experience working within CASG environment
Minimum 3 years in similar role.
Experience in defence sector highly desirable.
