Job Description

As a Development Test Engineer at EOS in Canberra, you will play a vital role within our Engineering department. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and execute test plans for new product development.
  • Conduct testing on hardware and software components to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Analyse test results and provide feedback to the design and development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot issues and work towards effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Document test procedures, results, and observations for future reference.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools is desirable but not essential for this graduate role.

Desired Skills and Experience

Desired skills and experience:

  • Exposure to Verification & Validation practices, particularly in embedded mission-critical systems.
  • Basic proficiency in hardware and/or software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with analysing technical data, applying engineering judgement and writing reports.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities within a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
